Address: To reach the Daniels Nature Center, park in the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve parking lot located on the corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection (across Skyline Boulevard on the right) and walk through the pedestrian tunnel to the Nature Center.

Details: Overlooking Alpine Pond at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve, the David C. Daniels Nature Center features imaginative displays that both children and adults can enjoy.

PURISIMA CREEK REDWOODS OPEN SPACE PRESERVE PDF Print E-mail

Details: beautiful hiking - Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve is a 3,120 acre park with 21 miles of developed trails. The centerpiece of the park is Purisima Creek Canyon because of its towering redwoods, rushing Purisima Creek, and the understory of ferns, berries and wild flowers. On the north end of the park you can get sweeping ocean views of the coast and Half Moon Bay.

Special activities are regularly scheduled, in addition to outreach to the schools and library class visits. Summer programs and activities are built around the popular Summer Reading Clubs for children and teens, and the Reader Leader Program.
